A Prosthodontist is your smiles best friend.
Your smile is the first thing that others see when they meet you. Improving your appearance is the everyday business of Pi Dental Center.
For the patient embarking upon a new smile built with dental implants, the credentials of the team are significantly important. Many prospective patients seeking online guidance begin by looking for a “dental implant dentist.” This is a misnomer. As to date, the American Dental Association has not sanctioned a residency program for dental implant dentists that leads to specialty recognition.
Pi Dental Center doctors were among the pioneers who established dental implant treatment protocols in the United States.
OUR PROSTHODONTISTS
Dr. Glenn Wolfinger and Dr. Robert Slauch are both board Certified Prosthodontists.

WHAT IS TEETH IN A DAY®?
Teeth in A Day® was developed at Pi Dental Center. This trademarked protocol allows a patient to go from debilitated dental condition to an attractive, functional set of “fixed” teeth in a single dental visit. Planning for this dramatic dental transition is comprehensive and includes the assistance of a biomedical engineer to ensure that the immediate loading of teeth on dental implants is accomplished with timely efficiency and precision.
WILL IT HURT?
Most patients tell us the dental implant placement procedure is not particularly painful. The majority of our patients are comfortable throughout their procedure with local anesthesia. General anesthesia is available for patients who prefer to be asleep. Patients who closely adhere to home care instructions find that recovery from dental implant surgery is quick and minimally disruptive.
WHAT WILL IT COST?
Dental implant treatment is totally customized; therefore the cost is different for each case. Factors that influence the bottom line are the number of implants required to provide the foundation for the smile and the quality of material used to fabricate the final teeth. During your comprehensive diagnostic visit, all available dental treatment options will be presented from the basic to the ideal alternatives.
HOW SUCCESSFUL?
The successful replacement of missing teeth with dental implants is a major breakthrough in dentistry. With over 35 years of clinical success, research has proven that dental implants are effective. Implants provide support where teeth are missing without putting force onto remaining natural teeth. Fixed teeth supported by dental implants are a viable option for replacement of missing teeth.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Your time is valuable. At Pi Dental Center every treatment procedure has been streamlined for patient convenience with less time in the dental chair. During your initial diagnostic evaluation, the dentist will discuss how many office visits are expected along with the average length of each visit.
IS IT CONVENIENT?
Pi Dental Center is dedicated to efficiency and to providing care with a minimum time commitment for the patient. Offering all phases of dental treatment under one roof is the key to simplifying a patient’s experience. Pi is a complete dental health center where all restorative and cosmetic dentistry from tooth whitening to total dental implant smile makeovers happen in one location.
